Booking on Costa Ionica
All Bookings made on Costa Ionica Hotel are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking.
Reservations & Cancellation Policy
Rate Notes
Rate includes Bed & delicious Breakfast and all taxes, except for the updated stay tax from 01.01.2025 called ‘Climate Resilience Tax’, which is 10€ per room per night (4 star hotel) and we are obliged by law to invoice separately upon your check-out.

No free cancellation is allowed for this rate, special conditions apply.

Payment Policy
Full prepayment upon booking is required for this special rate. Non-refundable, not changeable.
For credit/debit card payments, the total amount of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking.
For bank transfers, a deposit within 1 working day is needed to secure your reservation.
In case of failure to provide payment as above, Costa Ionica reserve the right to cancel reservation without any further obligation and notification.

Cancellation Policy
This rate allows booking modifications or cancellation without charges up to 21 Days before Arrival.
For any cancellation that takes place at least 21 days before the arranged arrival date, the whole deposit will be refunded and there are no cancellation fees.
For any cancellation that takes place 21 days to 8 days prior to the arranged arrival date, there will be a 30% of the total amount of the booking charged as a cancellation penalty fee, or the deposit will not be refunded.
For any cancellation that takes place 7 days or less prior to the arranged arrival date, there will be a 60% of the total amount of the booking charged as a cancellation penalty fee.
In cases of cancellation upon arrival, during the stay, departure prior to the arranged date, or for no show at the hotel, the customer is charged 100% of the stay based on his reservation.
Payment Policy
For the confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the booking is required (by credit card, bank transfer).
Costa Ionica reserves the right to pre-authorize your card prior to arrival.
For credit/debit card payments, the deposit will be charged on the day of booking.
For bank transfers, a deposit within 3 working days is needed to secure your reservation.
The balance 70% to be paid upon arrival or check-out to the Hotel.
In case of failure to provide payment as above, Costa Ionica reserve the right to cancel reservation without any further obligation and notification.
Charges for additional services
Any other charge for additional services provided during the Guest’s stay will be paid immediately or charged to the account of each room. The Guest must pay the bills in full for each room booked before departure. The Hotel must provide the Guest with the relevant invoice that will include in detail the corresponding charges.
Check-in / Check-out
At the time of check-in, guests will be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and the appropriate ID, along with the card they booked.
Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, guests may check-in at any time from 15:00 hrs. on the scheduled day of arrival.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 hrs. (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking).
Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged as follows:
• Check out until 13:00 hrs. – Free of charge
• Check out until 20:00 hrs. – An extra charge of half-day will apply
• Check out later than 20:00 hrs. – A full day will be charged
Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel. If you would like further details please contact the Reception.
Children Policy
• All children up to 5 years stay free of charge sharing parent’s bed.
• Any type of baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
• Double Room with Armchair Bed can accommodate a child from 6 until 17 years old.
• Family Suite sofa bed can accommodate 2 childs from 6 until 17 years old.
Pool Towels
For hygiene reasons, the white towels of the rooms may not be used outside the room.
Smoking Policy
All rooms are Non-Smoking Rooms. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel’s rooms and all indoor areas.
Smoking is allowed in the hotel room’s balconies and all outdoor areas.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the hotel’s rooms and all indoor areas.
Guest Conduct
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Damage
In the event of damage to a room or other property due to intent, willfulness or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage suffered, including damage due to business interruption, to the registered customer’s credit/debit card. In the cases where the customer has not paid by credit card, but in cash or another way, the hotel will demand the immediate payment of the amount of the damage suffered by the customer otherwise it reserves all its legal rights.
Personal Information
Force Majeure
The Hotel accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, water, or other utility services, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
Limitation of Liability
Guests are responsible throughout their stay at the hotel for the safekeeping of their personal. The Hotel shall accept no liability for loss, destruction or damage, except in case of intent or gross negligence. The hotel is exempted from any liability if the loss or damage sustained due to negligence of the customer or other persons residing with him or visits him. Also, the hotel will not be liable if the damage, destruction or loss due to force majeure (earthquake, fire etc.) or any extraordinary nature.
